"Children shouldn't let fathers drive Chevrolet's"

This morning the Ford was looking for a challenge and my Dad happened to need a ride. Well both the truck and him needed a ride to the dealer. Apparently, there is an electrical short somewhere as smoking coming from under the hood is not a good thing. The truck still runs, but no alternator and lots of smoke. So I went and picked him up and brought both of them to the local Chevy dealer. Needless the say parking in front of the dealership didn't make them happy since the Ford was doing all the work!

haha... On a serious note my Dad has always been a Ford guy and happen to stumble on this great deal from a friend of his. Needless to say, after he drove my truck around towing his we were looking at the dealership on the way home.

I know how your dad must have felt. Last month my truck's starter quit in the parking lot at work. It was late so I called my wife (drives a '99 Chevy TrailBlazer) to come pick me up, I thought I'd just deal with it the next day. On the way home I decided that I should have tried to pull it to start it, then I could have driven it home. Later that evening we did just that, but before we tried to pull it, my wife suggested that she could just pull me home if it did not start. I didn't say anything but that wasn't going to happen. There was no way I was going to be seen being pulled through the streets of Indy by a Chevy Blazer!

Right on,my buddys truck was just like that last week.Only i didnt have a picture of it lol.I towed it to town it was a dodge pulled by my ford.
