Latest fuel economy update

Just completed a 2,800 mile round trip from southeast Pennsylvania to Voyageur National Park in Minnesota, and back. Averaged 16 mpg, hauling a 3,500 lb boat, with four in the cab. Speed was in the range of 65 mph - 70 mph. Truck has 142,000 miles on it. Terrain was mostly flat except for the ridge and valley province of Penna.

Mileage was hand calculated and fuel was filled to the top of the neck.

Truck ran well. Had good weather and fun times, but experienced tons of biting gnats and the fishing on Crane Lake was far below expectations.
