Leaking oil pan

How much clearance should there be between the cross member and the oil pan? Mine is touching! I think its starting to wear through and leak. I need guidance please. What should I do.

Should not be touching. Broken engine mount? Bent cross member? Check mounts.

Oops sorry. Yes its a 2004 f-250 king ranch 6.0 ps. The pan is rubbing on the trailing edge of the crossmember. The mounts appear to be solid. I dont know if the diesels had the conventional rubber mounts or not, but I thought there should be at least 1/4" clearance there.

Did you check the tranny mount? Something is not kosher. You need to find the cause before repairing or you will be doing it again.
