Line pressure control solenoid 5r110w

How do I get this solenoid out of the valve body? The wiring harness "gromet" that passes through the transmission housing is in the way. I have unbolted the plug, unlocked and turned the "gromet", then it will only move in about 3/4 of an inch and will not pass all the way through the valve body.
Does the hole valve body need to be removed?

Yes... the EPC is (IIRC) the only solenoid that requires the removal of the main control....
