Longer crank time when hot

My 04/04 w/ 100,700 miles is crankin a little longer before starting when hot. Sometimes when it is cold it seems to crank slower. I'm going to take a look with my autoenginuty this weekend. I have service manuals on the way. I'm thinkin a H/P oil leak. Does anyone have the part numbers for the oil seals to the injectors, stand pipe seals, and cap seals. Figure if it is an oil leak, I'm gonna change all of them at one time. I'll check the batteries and for wire chaffing too. Thanks

Also, does anyone have the part number for the air adapter to check for leaks in the oil rails???

Had same problem, but engine still under the 100K coverage. Dealer claims it was failed o ring and air leak in the ICP valves lower and rear engine. Replaced blown STC and D-rings.
I asked for a layman's explanation, but SA was not familiar with Diesel engines. IF this is any help and you understand it, GREAT!
Just picked up my truck yesterday. Don't know if it worked yet.

Yep, makes sence to me. But mine is an 04, don't have the stc. But I have the "D" rings on the stand pipes

you might also try disconnecting the gnd. cable at the drivers battery and see if 1 battery voltage increases and the other decreases. Sure sign of a bad battery dragging the system down. If so, replace both batteries. Just had this happen to my 1 year old batteries last week. Good manager at AZ and he replaced both batteries.

I put autoenginuity on it and data logged. Of course the truck seems to start every time but the battery voltage is dropping to 8-8.5 when I start it. I did put the batterys on a charger for a short period, so I'm thinkin batteries. Gonna have them load tested today at the dealership. Batteries are still under warranty for FREE replacement.
