I have a check engine light on, (what else is new?) and pulled the codes myself. I called Ford to find out what the codes mean, and they said that they don't know!!! The codes weren't in their listings. So, I figured you guys know more than they do anyway...
So, here are the codes.................I hope I have the right ones...............

Sometimes I get undefined codes of my bully dog outlook monitor, don't know what they mean because there is no definition anywhere. Maybe yours are different, I don't know? I get codes like V3foo, Uoooo, V3E00, etc...

This isn't that useless odometer trick, is it? Of course the Ford dealer doesn't have a listing for these codes. Meaningful codes will begin with P for powertrain, T for transmisions, C for Chassis, B for body and U for network codes.. After this system identifier, there will be four (and only four) specific digits...
Whenever I see these types of nonsense codes, my first assumption (usually proven right) is that the stupid odo trick still lives... Hold down the reset button while you turn the key on and the instrument cluster goes through a self test...
I have poured over workshop manuals and, thus far, I have only come across one partial listing of odo codes... and those are for (IIRC) an 01 F150... What a self test of the HEC is going to tell us about the rest of the truck is beyond me.
This is one parlour trick I would love to see disappear...
