It's got all the goodies. Tow command, 2-1/2" hitch, 18" wheels, back up sensor, 6 disc CD, blah, blah, blah. I drove it and it is a LOT nicer than my '00 Lariat. Just wondering if the chassis/engine/trans changes are proving to be troublesome.
About the only thing you will miss is the mileage. My old 7.3 was much better on fuel than the 6.0. Theres a thing called a turbo fart Thats where the turbo builds up back pressure and farts it out the air cleaner. Thats it.(for me anyway) Major improvement from 00.

The truck you are considering sounds exactly like my truck (see sig). My late father-in-law used to say that there are more lies told about sex and fuel mileage than anything else. My truck is getting 16 - 17 mpg right now and I got 13 mpg towing my 24' travel trailer. It has improved a little with break in, but I only have 6,600 miles so it should break in some more and possibly get better.
To answer your original question, the new trucks arew great! Don't worry about a thing. I am very pleasantly surprised with the performance and quality of this new truck and I have absolutely no regrets. DO IT!

rofl I wish I got anywhere near 20mpg. Look for anything under 15mpg and just over 10mpg if you are towing. On the 18" wheels if you are planning on doing anythig offroad, make sure the BFG's are on the truck and not the Continentals. The Continentals are worthless in any kind of mud or slush. You also will not find any good options in the aftermarket for the 18" rims so make sure you get the tire you want since you will be stuck with it for a while.
Got the exact same truck you are talking about, fully loaded with all the goodies. I only have 1000 miles on it. Took a trip today to and checked the mileage, some city stop and go driving and some interstate driving. While on the highway the on board computer said I was getting 19-20 mpg. I refilled the tank and checked the mileage myself for an all around stop and go with interstate average of 17 mpg. I think I will keep it, been a great truck so far.

I've had mine since X-mas and I love it, mine is fully loaded with tow command, up lifter switches and climate control. Best vehicle I have ever bought. Im near 8,000 miles now and I am getting 17 mpg mostly hwy. It started out 15 mpg and its been getting better. The driving lights on this truck are so good that I always get flashed that my brites are on, and then piss them off when I show them they arn't my brites. Get the truck and enjoy.
