Loud turbo whistle

Hi guys, my 05 which is stock except an MBRP has a whistle that will make u deaf. Only happens @ idle and goes away when i unplug the VGT contol valve. Im not sure if I need to replace the control valve or if I need to remove and clean my turbo. Thoughts please

Sure it is not an 03 turbo? If the noise changes that means the vanes are sweeping. It dosen't sound as if it needs cleaning.

No i'm sure it's not an 03 turbo. Turbo was rerplaced twice by the dealer years ago for other reasons. Sounds like the loudest tea kettle you have ever heard. The colder it is outside the louder and more frequent the whistle. It really has me stumped and I'm sure where to start.

The whistle is just what it's doing normally. Why do you figure there is a problem? Are there any other performance issues?

No No this not an ordinary turbo whistle. i have had this truck 6 years and this is something new. It is very loud !! The truck runs perfect otherwise. I recorded an mp3 with the engine running but cant figure out how to attach it.
