I have an aftermarket oil and water temp gauge. Yes both temps will get that hot. They are never more than 15* difference in temps. The John Wood tow file that I use is just a tranny file, so engine temps are factory. I was told that the heads were checked, but dont really know. Like I said, I only see these temps while towing a long steep grade and not always. Though they will hover around 225* while towing. When I am not towing and using a street race file, my temps stay around 205* Yours stay that low while towing? I have had my truck/trailer weighed at 23,600#.

I don't see Ford on the engine tag,

So what engine is easy to work on? Maybe you should buy that one and put it in your Ford truck.

I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, EVER go near that place again, Liberator Performance is a POOR excuse for a performance/repair shop. As if the appearance of the business wasn't enough. They over schedule and have to redo things over and over and over again!
