What I was feeling may not have been so much a lack of power as a longer delay in down shifting.
I agree I didn't think that a 33" would make any difference, and maybe I am being hypersensitive but it deffinetly felt like there was a difference. I will keep an eye on it and see if it does continue to feel like it is getting better, or if I am just getting used to it.

If you don't adjust the computer for the tire size it will affect the transmissions shifting. My truck will not shift into overdrive unless I let off the throttle for a second or two or it gets up to about 75mph, and once its there it won't shift out of it till it gets below 55mph and I accelerate or I give it more then 3/4 throttle (I never saw a big truck that could pull so hard on the highway in overdrive).
I thought it was the transmission having problems, but it shifts fine with the smaller tires. All the other shift points are a little slow too, but really it just takes the adjustment of driving style to make them work for you.
You could try getting a programmer that can adjust the tire size, that might get it closer to the way it was.
