New Ball Joints @ 30,000 miles

Took my 03 in for it's 30,000 mile service, Carlos the tech told me your getting new ball joint since yours are junk. My answer Cool do it........

My dealer told me,
They had more warranty issues with customers pumping too much grease in the grease fittings and have less problems with non-greaseable!
I'm not buying that one, since both sides were done within 2 weeks of each other at 20,000 miles! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif[/img]
I even offered to pay the difference to upgrade! They said NOPE! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]
So I guess I will be okay till 40k when I can put my own GREASEABLE ball joints in! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]

Was there any indication to you, that bjoints were bad? Apparently tech. noticed something that indicated bjoints bad. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img] Anyhow, good to get done under warr. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
