New to diesels. Is this right?

6.0L Power Stroke Engine and Drivetrain Discussion of the 6.0L Power Stroke diesel engine and drivetrain in the 2003-Up Super Duties and Excursions. No gas engine discussion allowed except on transmissions and drivetrain that pertain to all models. Please confine discussion of topics in this forum to those items that are specific to the 6.0L Power Stroke engine.

It builds up crap in the intake manifold. I had to have mine replaced becasue of this.He told me start it up in the morning and run it for 30-45 secs and go for it.

It has an in line 6. Finally cam position sensor went out completely. After replacement the cold start problem went away. Never heard this about a 6.0 but stranger things have happened. __________________ '05 F350 Lariat DRW 4X4 6L Auto, stock. Above replaced '91 F350 XLT Lariat DRW 2X4 7.3L 5 speed man.
