No spool up
One of our company trucks is an 03 6.0 F-550. If you dont let the truck idle for 5 or more minutes, even in warm weather, the turbo wont spool until the road speed is up to about 40 mph. We have had it in the shop and they told the boss that this is normal for the 03's. I find this a little hard to believe. It is usually strapped to a gooseneck with a backhoe on it and not having that turbo makes pulling into traffic a seat ruining experience. He did have an Edge programmer on it, but that came off as soon as the new head gaskets went on. He said with the programmer, the turbo spooled immediately. I am by no means an expert on the 6.0's (still dont make enough money to afford one)so I hope you guys can help us out.
Thanks
