Noisy Fuel Pump

I think the squeek in my cab is coming from the fuel pump?? Someone was telling me the tank pumps are known for making a high pitch noise. Are they any additives to lube it up??

Re: Noisy Fuel Pump

If you have a 6.0 PSD the pump is in the HFCM mounted to the left frame rail, about right under were the drive seat is . That is the only pump I'm aware of. But I only have a single tank truck so maybe they put another pump some place else when they add another tank.

You should be able to hear this pump come on, if you stick your head down there, with the key in the run position. Mine is pretty quite.

The A1000 pump I added for WVO is much louder.
