Oil Leak?? at 112k miles

I was just under my truck changing my oil and i descover an OIL LEAK AHHHHHHH. I was pissed so I put the drain plug back in and the leak stopped, I think I might be on to something here.. I guess since its out of warrenty that I will just have to deal with a BAD oil leak approximately every 4k miles. I guess its a good time to put a new filter in too.
I hope you all like your truck as much as I love mine if not I got friends looking for trucks sell them.
MERRY CHRISTMAS

TIME LINE:

Late 2002 Ford built my truck and I’m just to poor to buy it.
1. 2 years later Nov 3, truck arrives at dealer used.
2. 1 Week later I decided it WAS my truck and get an answer to how long for paper work, another 3 DAYS for my loan.
3. I lose my cool and FED UP with bank I want this Ford.
4. Drive to dealer where my truck is sign papers, gave a $1k deposit and went to bank for loan.
5. Called Accessory dealer and started looking at stuff to bolt on just to much to decide I need time to make a plan.
6. Called Broker bought all someone’s Ford stock.
7. I'm officially thrilled with Ford, I will Always own another Ford.
8. Bought wife a 02 explorer (tried to get her a GT 500 but couldn't find one with a trailer hitch) is going to replace Mustang.
9. Walked into dealer and thanked them for fixing the few problems with my truck and making me a great deal.

Re: Oil Leak?? at 112k miles

nice!!!!!!!!!! im having that problem too. i also have a problem that my dealer has not been able to replicate. sometimes, when im at a stop light, and i press on the petal on the left, the truck lurches forward. as i pull forward the wheels spin a whole lot and smoke comes out from them. i think it was describes in a tsb as "haulin a$$ syndrome"? you know you have it for sure if you find yourself smiling. one issue though. im really worried about the life of the tires... i would hate to have to replace those awesome conti tires.

the other issue that has been discussed is the amount of attention my truck gets at stop lights... especially from women. they often ask to ride in the truck, flash body parts at me, and giggle a lot. i have not found a tsb on this but im very concerned.

Re: Oil Leak?? at 112k miles

Good one!

I had the same problem at 3000k, 8000k, and 13000k. I guess I'll have to live with it!

I think your signature is really funny.
I hate stuff like that normally, but making fun of creeper is expected.
I wish there was a way to automatically delete his posts from threads.
