Question about torque shift transmission?

Over the weekend I was pulling my Camper and forgot to put the transmission in tow haul mode I was running interstate 65 or so and stop and go traffic on level ground not much hills on the run. Question is Does it hurt anything running pulling around 8000# out of tow haul mode?

You didn't hurt anything. All the tow hall feature does is gear down for you and give you a few more rpms before it upshifts.

Agreed..

I tow my boat which is around 6,000 pounds and the only time I use tow haul mode is when I coming up to a stop light. I hit the button so the truck does some engine braking for me. Other than that, I haul about 75mph on the interstate with the cruise control set.

Thanks
I did not even think about it until I pulled in to my driveway where I take it out of tow haul because for some reason it downshifts really hard there don't know why it does it there and only there but it does.

I tow an 11k dry weight 5er with the cruise on in hi gear no problem. I use the tow command when I hit heavy grades or the mts.
