Rapid clicking/buzzing from valve cover at KO

I went to start my truck a while ago and I heard what sounded like a rapid clicking or buzzing noise coming from under the hood as soon as I turned the key on. I had my Son come out and turn the key on while I listened with the hood up. It sounded like it was coming from the passenger side valve cover and then it would quit but it would do it every time you turned the key on. The truck started when I had him try to start it. I suspected it was an injector but didn't know if that's what it was or if that is common?
Thanks,
Bob

That's your fuel injectors cycling. There is nothing wrong with it. I'm just surprised it took you this long to notice it!

Thanks Alexb. It is actually sounding like it's coming from around the center of the engine now but it's hard to tell.

F..if you wanna play Dr. & listen better, get a sscope. Looks like what they use except end has probe. Maybe local outlet has one? Just stick the probe in area you wanna listen to. Also you should be able to hear fuel pump running with WTSL on. Mine is very noticeable, no scope.
