RECALL 05E15 TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED--7-18-05 - Diesel Forum

Well took my truck in for 3 recalls and another new EGR and rear main seal leak.
Was reading service invoice and noticed they never replaced my EBP censor?
Well got on-line and found out it has been suspeneded... Anyone know why? [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]
I had to pick up late at night so never got a chance to ask the SA.

Suspended as of when, what date? They ran an Oasis rpt on mine on 7/14/2005 and it was still active at that time.

As of 7-18 Ford PCM calibrations have been all messed up. We can't program pcm's with much sucess at this time. I did program a PCM yesterday and all went well, but we are waiting for an updated calibration file from ford, then they will reactivate the Emissions recall 05E15. The Saftey recall 05S34 is still being done

A new program that doesn't use the EBP sensor info is coming. Why change something that isn't going to make a difference in how the truck run's.
Oh, and there will be a customer satisfaction program for most if not all 2003 6.0.

Will the reflash connected with this recall mess up the tow haul or/and will it do anything about the dead pedal?
