revx vs. hot shot secret vs. seafoam

think i let the used injectors sit too long before installing them. im getting a injector 4 low circuit code. ive tried the hot shot secret and think it stretched out my injector change but want to know whats better. hopefully it will keep me from having to rip it apart for that one injector. also would it help if i put a 204 thermostat in it to make it run more efficient and hotter?

If you are getting a circuit code its an electrical issue. I dont see how adding things to the hydraulic side will change things.

so if theres any electrical issues so would that mean something wrong with just that wiring since its only injector number 4. what code would pop up if it was mechanical?

Seafoam is alcohol. I wouldn't get anywhere near my diesel engine with it.

I have used Hot Shots Secrets on both of mine for the past few years and will continue to do so. I don't know if it does anything, but the truck starts and runs great. I have had no stiction issues nor any injector issues.

I thought I would comment on this thread after having a Recent experience with REV-X.

I ordered 2 bottles last week and I put them in on Monday after I was having a Cold Injector issue. I figured it was an injector sticking just by the way it performed when the Oil Temp was under about 110F. When the truck was Cold it would have a "Miss" to it and became very noticeable when under a little load like going up a hill. After the Oil Temp reached 110 then the truck would smooth out and perform like normal.

Now my truck currently has 275,000km on it and I take Very Good care of it and try and tackle anything that may need to be done... I run 5w 40 Mobil 1 Synthetic oil every oil change and change it using Ford Filters of course at about 8,000km intervals. I also have been using a Full 2 qt bottle of Hot Shots Secret for the last 5 Oil changes.

I initially thought that the HSS would have taken care of any injector stiction to the point that the REV-X would be a waste of $70.00 but figured it's worth a try.
I put the REV-X in on Monday and the temps here are around -8C at night. I thought to myself that maybe I would wait until I change the oil next (about 5000 more km) before I put it in my engine because I was unsure if it was safe to put it in with the HSS. I decided to go ahead and try anyways because realistically I didn't really have much faith in 8 oz of really expensive Oil... On the first start I didn't really notice any difference in the way it started and Idled. On the second start it Started noticeably better so I thought I would take it for a quick drive around the block before the Oil Temp reached 110 to see if the REV-X helped with the "Miss... Well to my surprise did it not only help with the "Miss" It completely Eliminated it... I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't experience it with my own eyes. Now that I have been running it for about a week I have also noticed that my truck has more power, it runs smoother and again there is no surging or bucking if the engine is too cold..
And this is after running Hot Shots Secret. I am not much of a believer in products like this and I don't often buy magic juices to put in my vehicles but I will be investing in REV-X for every Oil Change from now on...

My experience has been similar I used revX in my 6.0 first and it fixed all the injector issues I was having. I have since used it to free up stuck lifters and such on several gas vehicles on our lot cars. It even made a PS pump on an explorer make much less noise.

Us RevX and forget the rest.

u think 8 oz of the revx would make my oil level too high and make it act like that?
