RMS # for 6L and

LONG thread, hopefully fix update shorter.

Only # I could find was from 03/6L. FMC 3C3Z 6701 AA F.Mogul RMS. Does anyone know if this one still being used or newer version?

1st trip to shop under warr. 14K mi. S.advisor is go between w/d.tech. so far. Q's SA couldn't answer, the Svc.Mgr. did. Was told d.tech. is 6L certified. Told them appreciated their efforts, just concerns & my Q's are being answered. Tks. again to this site/members for info. No telling who else reads these threads?

3 o.leaks. BH/CAC lower tube & one above ps pump (pump not leaking), oil on sensor wires above ps pump. Was told dye test etc. done, RMS leaking Yeah I know. RMS gets replaced. CAC tubes get replaced. SA said d.tech. said he felt oil on wires above ps pump was from o.change? I listed junk in bottom of coolant (degas) res. was told tech. said discoloration & new res. to be installed. Also doing overdue safety recall 04S15 on the batt. connection.

I told SA, I respecfully disagree on opinion about o. above p.s. pump & c.res. discoloration. Why, I change my own o.& if you take time to fish junk out of c.res, sure don't look like discoloration. Did mention could it possible be casting sand & if so is it all thru the cooling system? Anyhow, suppose to tell d. mech. Suppose to be ready next Tue.

FWIW...these leaks are really slow, nothing on ground, but are leaks.
In case your wondering, engine running good & still orig. 03 pcm program. Noted on my r/o, incld. office c. file, no reflash authorized by owner. Why, well when greeted by SA, attached to r/o 3 FMC recalibration updates to do. Last, but not least. Was told if the RMS leaked again, tech. would have to repair on his own.
