Rough running

While driving my truck will start sputtering like it is going to cut off. The only codes I am getting are P0470 and P0472 which are both for exhaust back pressure sensor. Would the ebp sensor cause the truck to run rough or could it be something else?

Mine was running rough too. I had to replace an injector computer module. I also had a blown head gasket which will require the replacement of the EGR Coolers and Oil Cooler kit. Apparently, this is a very common problem with this type of engine. I hope this helps. Take care.

Yes - a bad EBP sensor, or a clogged EBP tube, or a bad harness can cause these types of issues.

Do you still have any of your 5 yr / 100k warranty left?
