Trying to find out what everybody is using to scan codes?

Innova 3150 here. (Casual scanner.) AE w/Ford bundle is a premium/ professional one.

We have the Infinity available. It is a programmer/monitor, but you do not have to get tunes if you don't want to. You can always add them at a later date too if you decide you want them.

The Infinity will hold an unlimited amount of tunes, monitor generic and Ford enhanced PID's, read/clear DTC's, run tests(KOEO/KOER, buzz, cylinder contribution, glow plug), datalog, play media, and much more. You can check it out HERE.

6d, my Innova has never let me down pulling codes. With the AE, you have the ability to do most any specific diag test on a 6.0. I keep the Innova w/ me so I can help others mostly. It points me in the right direction. The Scangauge does the rest w/ on the fly diag. sensor readings.
