small 6.0 problem.

Well my truck just started this problem...I start my truck in the morning and its about 70 degrees outside my truck idles rough for a couple seconds (30) and when I try to slowly accelerate it feels like it running on 6 cly. but after a couple min. she runs like she should...I dose not bother me that much I just hope I isnt a big problem.

oh ya I started after I changed my oil from Delo/rotella to castrol 15w40
It never did it when I ran delo or rotella.

thanks in advanced...

In the 7.3 l forum, oil brands was a big deal a few years ago. I don't recall it being a 6.0 issue, though. But, yes, different oils (and oil additives), can effect the way the engine behaves. Romping during cold weather and a certain brand of oil was pretty common. I have noticed that big of a deal, but I use either Shell Rotella, Chevron, or Mobil Delvac.
What weight oil did you use when you were using the Rotella? Maybe you went from 30 weight to 40 weight, and it's dragging on the engine more? just a thought.
