Exclamation still having a sputtering problem - please help!!!!!!!

OK, as some of you know. I was having a sputtering problem under WOT.

I took it to my buddy @ Ford, who is a Diesel tech there.

He checked everything out.

I had 2 bad D-rings and had the injectors replaced.

He checked the ICP sensor, but said it checked out OK and didn't replace it.

he also installed head studs and replaced my head gaskets. So I held off on putting my tuner back into my truck for a week to make sure everything was seated properly before I put any type of added pwoer to the truck.

I re-installed my Diablo tuner in the truck just for sh*ts and grins to see how their new updated tunes work. they work fine, driveability is great. But now again, under WOT i'm getting that sputtering.

What do you guys think this could be????

It has to be fuel related. I know with the tuners, it demands more fuel. Do you think that the injectors are too small? or the ICP still could be bad and it's not showing without the tuner since it's not demenading as much fuel??? or possibly the fuel pump doing weak or bad???

Input guys. Thanks.

Have you changed your fuel filters? Maybe a little dirty and not letting fuel through.

The most common reason (according to Ford) for injector problems is low fuel pressure. This can be from poor filter maintenance or from a weak pump or from restricted lines. Anyone running a tune should install a fuel pressure gauge IMO. You may have a a low fuel pressure issue that took out your injectors in the fisrt place and it may be on its way to doing it again now.

I let them revamp their tunes using my truck, so they gave it to me. I am putting my SCT back in as soon as I can find it. It's MIA right now

I have the SCT tune and mine had similar issues at start-up. I added the AirDog 150 and shazam! no more lack of fuel issues! Just a quieter, smoother running truck!
