Stuff in the intake

I own a late 04 f-350 crew cab lariat 4x4. The last couple of weeks I have noticed a funny smell coming out of the exhaust. I have MBRP 4" duals exhaust from turbo back no cat, and some bolt ons, motor is stock no chips. Saturday I noticed the EGT temp was running a little higher then it normally does about 725 750F it usually runs about 600F that’s it, even when I'm pulling it only hits about 650 max on a hot day. So today I pulled the EGR valve out of the intake and sure enough I saw some coolant in the intake so ok the EGR cooler is leaking ok. Then I noticed there is a layer of black oily tar like stuff in the intake as well IS THIS NORMAL. The truck is still under warranty until the end of June, for the most part its been a good truck. I just want to no if the black oily stuff in normal cause if its not I will get Ford to look at it .

Thanks
