Swapping gears

I found a set of 3:73 gears out of an 05 superduty, and was thinking of buying them and putting them in place of my 4:30 06 superduty dually.

Will I need anything else besides the gears? Anything I need to look out for?

I just had my 3.73 swapped out for the 4.30 gears. Ford did it. One of the bearings fell apart when they pulled the gears out. Just make sure you have alternate transportaion available in case you need parts.

Paid $1800 for Ford dealer to buy parts (ring, pinion, bearing) and labor.

The gears may be different if the 05 wasn't a dually. F350SRW used a 10.5 and a dually uses a Dana 80.
