Texas and DSB help

After about 7 tries for the dealer to fix my stalling and surging problems I am going to try to get something figured out on my truck through the DSB. Can anyone please help on where to start? I have read some of the previous posts on this and they are helpfull but some actual responses from people with these problems would be a great help. so far i have had a the vehicle flashed, new EBP sensor, EGR valve, Camshaft position sensor, and a new turbo and the problems are still happening. This site is great and i know i will get the help i need.

thanks

Re: Texas and DSB help

You might want to check with Houston Area Powerstrokes for more info. Being in Texas, they may be able to point you in the right direction.

Good luck!

In your Manual (look in the index) for dispute resolution, there is a phone number and address where you can request information.

Re: Texas and DSB help

i would also consider the lemon law every state is different so i am not familar with yours. you could find info on state website.sometimes if your stealer knows you are going to lemon law truck and knows they will lose. ford will give you a new truck you just pay differance in sticker, its called RAV[reaquired vechile]. they dont want lemon on title when they resell it. it only works if you still want a ford. lemon law you can get your money back.my friend had a windstar in shop 35 days she called up and said im coming in to pick out my new minivan. the dealer laughed at her. she said lemon law is 30 days in ct. give me a new van or im getting my money back and buying a honda. two weeks later she had a new van. i was able to help her because of my troubles with the 6.0. an educated consumer is fords worst nightmare

Re: Texas and DSB help

See this thread for my experience. Then check out your state's LL's at this website.

My advice would be that if you think you could win a LL case based on your trucks history and your states law, you would probably prevail at a DSB hearing. It takes some time to work through but it is free and lots and lots of us have gotten our trucks bought back using it so it's worth a try.
