Thanks Everyone! I am changing Forums

I had never realized how much I needed to learn about my 6.0 after I purchased it in 2007.

Well today it was traded in for a 2012 6.7 Lariat, Crew, Dually.
I am very excited to pick up our new truck.

I wanted to say thanks to all of you for your help. I will be watching the 6.7 forums soon So this will be good-bye......

My suggestion - get a good diesel additive (one with high lubricity) and use it. The pump doesn't like dry fuel. It also doesn't like water. One teaspoon will bring your truck to its knees - and it won't be covered under warranty. Start a maintenance log - probably need to get every oil change / filter change notarized and witnessed by the local justice of the peace. Drain your water separator often (and document that too.) Best of luck. I would have told you to upgrade to a 7.3

X2 on what RT said just remember if it is a fuel problem and the pump goes bad (no warranty) out of pocket.

I really appreciate the input. I have not picked up the new truck yet but, what was strange is my VIN is already listed by the dealer for sale and I still own it.

I am thinking of posting my VIN here for the next person that owns the truck and may google the VIN, just in case they wanna know about the truck. Thoughts?
