thinking about an 07 f250 but not sure... any ideas?
found an 07 f250 with a brand new plow on it and everything, 58k miles, regular cab 8ft bed. theyre asking 25 but i think i can work them down because its at a dealership. but then everyone says about how the 6 liters are all hit or miss with bad and good ones. was all this resolved by 2007? do you think its worth it? what do you think would be a good price?
sorry, im not very familiar with the 6liters and ive been kind of iffy with buying one. but this one is nice.
I think 25k is high! I just bought mine after saying screw all the 08's up
I had someone pull the oasis report and it was clean I also put a extended Warranty on it , about 3k miles into it and loving it 5 times more than my 05 2500 gmc 4x4 seirra

what about all the problems that the 6 liters have?
glowplugs head gaskets etc...
were most of those fixed by 07? or is that why they came out with the new engine and everything?
do you guys think itll have a lot of problems? or is it all just hit or miss?
IMO most of the problems were fixed by 2007 the only problem with my truck is a leaking bed plate which I have not had fixed but looking at the 6.4 thread some of them are having oil leaks also may just be the nature of the beast I say get a report on it and if its clean go for it and keep it stock.

I have an 06 that blew the head gaskets at 50k but I had A chip, exaust, ntake, and a heavy foot. keep it stock or try to make them blow before warranty is up. if u do find a dealer that will put arp studs in and ur good to go.
You'll be fine. Mid Jan 06 International made a number of changes to the heads and gaskets. Pay what you think is fair, different markets, different prices. I know in my area diesels command a high price due to the oil patch. Ford Super Duty's are the most expensive and popular truck you can buy.

I'd say get it, as others have said. Don't "chip it". It ain't worth it. You can expect to replace the EGR valve and thats done under warranty. My 06 6.0 has been flawless up to 105,000 miles. I just had a high pressure oil leak under the valve covered that I had fixed and an EGR valve replaced at 95,000, under warranty.
