ok my truck kinda had a loss of power from light accel from a stop every once in a while. no check engine lights. then one day i was driving and came to a stop and it started idling really rough and i was on my street so i drove it home. i found a blown fuse that goes to the check engine light i replaced it and low and behold p2285 icp low. i pulled the egr and cleaned it and replaced the icp and reset the computer. i went to drive it down the street today and it was still acting up and then it died like 8 houses from mine. i tried to restart it and it wouldnt. it wasnt even at operating temp the gauge was still all the way on C. so i tried to start it when i got home from work a minute ago and it still wont start. fuel filters were changed 7k-10k miles ago. anyone have any idea what it could be. thanks!
yeah i had the truck running and kinda shook all the harness i could see and checked them for any rubbing and what not. i found an injector harness that was rubbed but just the black insulation and that foil stuff was cut. the actual wires were fine with no cuts in their insulation. the problem seems like its getting progressively worse. i used to be able to start it and it would idle rough till i shut it off. then it would idle and die and restart and now it wont start at all.

This is why I didnt first say electrical......bc it doesnt usually cause rough idle. The first thing I would try from this point is to clean the EGR Valve. You might even want to consider bypassing it all-together....

Did you change the ICP sensor harness too? You could have gotten a faulty replacement sensor. Unplug the EGR valve. Cleaning it doesn't always work, but it shouldn't cause your truck to die if it is bad. The ICP sensor definately will kill it.
