Torque specs for CAC tube/boot clamps

I plan on taking on the new fuel regulator parts swap here soon. There is an incredible writeup on here for this with pics. I decided to "sack up" and do it myself. The only thing I have reservations with is the torque-to-spec instruction on the clamps for the CAC pipe-to-silicone sleeve connections. I've heard so many cases of the dreaded POP and no power when the boot comes off and want to do all I can to avoid this.

I am of the "Chevy school" of tightening bolts, etc. where you crank it until you hear a crack, and then back it off a half-turn.

Can someone put me some knowledge as to how much I need to tighten these clamps? A disconnect on the bottom connection sure would be a PITA while on the road...

A few months back i installed a new set from Dieselsite the stock boots have an added hump inside that fits inside a slot and the clamp goes over this witch will keep it in place just clean real good i used Dawn dish soap then just get the clamps tight, now the Dieselsite boots have a steel ring that goes in the slot and the boot goes over the ring and you put the clamp on the boot where the ring is kind of hard to do the ring goes into the boot to hold it from the torque of the clamp but it is a one time deal the oil will not kill these boots. You can see the rings here, they go on both ends of the pipe
Mine is an 06 and the back side of the boot at the turbo had a 3" split and you could not see it with only 31k.
