Tow Command? - Diesel Forum

I found a used '06 Lariat CC F-350 4x4 auto with only 2100 miles on it. It belongs to the owner of the dealership. He drove it while waiting for his dually to arrive. I think I can get a pretty sweet deal on it since it has been titled.

Anyway... I was checking out the invoice and it shows a brake controller as an added option, but nothing about "tow command." So, does it have the tow command system, or did someone kind of screw up when they ordered? The tow command is kind of at the top of the "gotta have" list on my next truck so if it does not have it, I may just order an '07

I noticed that as well. It appears as though the Tow Command package is the controller as well as some other items. It appears that the vehicle you speak of just has the controller.

The Tow Command Package includes:
* Controller
* Manual telescoping mirrors with integrated clearance and turn signals.

I guess my question is, and I think I answered it myself while perusing Ford Vehicles.com, would the brake controller be integrated with the anti lock brake system? I'll have to check again, but I think the truck has the heated tt mirrors.

I was worried that it just had the brake controller, non integrated, like with a hand shaker tranny.

I think if it is Ford's brake controller, then it is integrated with the rest of the truck.

The sticker from my '06 reads "TOW COMMAND SYSTEM 450
TRAILER BRAKE CONTROLLER
TELESCPNG TT MIRR-POWR/HTD"
