Trouble starting, and loud squeek?

I went outside today to go to lunch, got in my truck, let the plugs warm up longer than needed, started my truck, and it seemed like it had trouble starting. I would turn over fine, but when it started it almost seemed hesitant, but it did start and run fine. Is this normal? Also, Ive started to notice a loud squeek noise when I kill my truck. What is this, and is it bad?

Re: Trouble starting, and loud squeek?

I've got an 05 and it has been doing this slow roll start all summer. I've played with the glow plugs also with no joy. Every now and then, it will fire right up. Once the engine has been started for the day, the sympton is gone. Truck has run fine. I run a SCT and thought perhaps this might have something to do with it. Cannot help with the sqeak. Probably cannot get ford to fix it until it completely breaks. If you find out about the slow rolling start let me know.

Re: Trouble starting, and loud squeek?

That is EXACTLY what mine is doing, I mean EXACTLY. You couldnt have said it any better. By the way, mine has never not started, it just gets irritating.
