Truck died while on highway and error codes
I have an 04 6.0 powerstroke and I need some help. Yesterday, while driving at highway speed, my RPM's dropped quickly, the truck slowed and then died. I put it in neutral and coasted to the shoulder then restarted. This happened a couple of times. This morning, I checked the error codes and have two. First was P0603, Internal KAM error. Second was P2285, Injector pressure.
Once before, I had an injector pressure code and the mechanic said it happens sometimes when the engine has a chip. I have the super chip, so we chalked it up to that. With those prior errors, the truck did not die.
Since the truck is dying at highway speed, I wonder the cause is. Any suggestions?
