Re: truck reflashed

Stickers on the driver side radiator or cowl cover. Have a dealer run an Oasis report. It will show everything a Ford dealer has done.
On edit, I have to add that my last reflash was posted on the driver door post.

well put montanafan, but w/ the new upgrade of tester we use now, there are new enhancments & applications that have to be applied. we get new updates almost ever other day so when we reflash, they are up to date in case of a conflict w/ the running of all the veh's.i stick the stickers on the left inner portion of the hood right next to the hood latch bar. Re: truck reflashed

Glad to hear your using sticker. Seems I recall a FMC tech. here said reflash # not listed on updates, just that it was latest pcm recal. Seems that tech. also said didnt use sticker (amd) Another (curent)thread says sticker used & shows recal. # for the 06E17 recal.

Q..Do you list on the sticker what was reflashed & actual #. If so, is that a hard/time consuming job to find that recal. #. TIA

Curious..did you ever see this notice from FMC?

AMD..Authorized Modification Decal. FMC/EPA & CARB - Is required to list date/dealer# & summary of modification performed. "Placed adjacent to VEC1 - (vechicle emission control info)" & cover with clear decal shield.

Re: truck reflashed

I have had 2 or 3 reflashes (unsure), as I have never seen a sticker or anything on the paperwork. I have even requested notification of some kind on the paperwork I,ve given to the service advisor and still see nothing. But I do know the last was recall 05E15. Re: truck reflashed

Never had a sticker and only once on the ticket it said "reprogrammed" or somehting like that, and that was it.

I've seen something posted plus consistant comments for techs saying Ford required the dealer to be up to date and that they no longer have info on updates. Who knows, my deaelr has been good but never documents flashes it seems.

Re: truck reflashed

My '06 was updated and stickered on the core support, driver's side. Pic here, ran perfect before and after, etc.

Re: truck reflashed

ford has come to a conclusion that if there is no reflash availible on oasis, then don't reflash unless the customer wants it reflashed at there expense. have had a couple of kickbacks from ford for doing this.
