Truck starts for a second then shuts down..

I have a 2004 powerstroke and it starts for a second then shuts down. No check engine light comes on and sounds fine when started. Fuel filter not problem because i went back the next day and it started just fine and ran good then it did it again today. somethin wit the computer is the problem. i talked to dealer and he said it sounds like the injector sensor is screwed up. i dont know what to think. any help would be appreciated as i dont have the money to pay the 80 dollar shop rate to get fixed and im mechanically halfway skilled.haha

If it is an early build 2004, I'd go with the ICP sensor as well. But, you can spend alot more than an 80 dollar diagnosis fee on wrong guesses.

yeah, im thinking im gonna get the codes down for the price and whatever comes up ill try to fix myself, unofortunately my truck is 20,000 miles over warranty so there. How hard is it to replace the icp sensor and how much is the sensor itself.
