turbo back PSI sensor

what impact does the backpressure sensor have on the engine or exhaust system? I have deleted my muffler and cat on a 05 f350 and was wandering if i may have to do this? would it change the way that the exhaust sounds? how much power i am making? things of that nature.

"Now if his backpressure sensor is not capable off or responding wrong to the drop in backpressure he could be experiancing power loss..Did you reset the computer by disconecting the batteries"

Re: turbo back PSI sensor

Well, it's a Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor. (EBP) So you do the math.

If resetting the ECM helps, then driving will too, as it adapts.
