turbo rust

just a question could you disonnect the pipe to the turbo and spray a rust buster or wd-40 in to help keep from getting stuck vanes

You would have to remove the exhaust side piping which is a PITA and WD-40 would burn off almost instantly at the exhaust temperatures that the turbo operates at. The turbo vanes stick because of oxides and carbon buildup which needs to be mechanically removed anyway.
