Upfitter Switches

Well, it has been a couple of years since upfitter switches have come on the PSD was wondering if anybody would share what they have done with them. Anything out of the ordinary? Thanks for the input.

Re: Upfitter Switches

I had my CB, XM and iPod power running through them. I got tired of that. I wanted my XM & iPod to turn off when the radio does (with the delay). So I rewired tings to provide power like I wanted it, when I wanted it. I'm not sure what I'll do next with the switches. But for now they go unused.

Re: Upfitter Switches

#3 gives my Pyrometer it's illumination light so I can see it at night. I may use one to turn on/off my mirror heaters. I don't like the fact that they come on all the time, regardless of temp.

Re: Upfitter Switches

for you guys running backup lights on a 10 amp switch, have you had any issues? or are they LED or don't need more than 10amps?
I always thought back up lights required at least a 20-30 amp fuse/relay

i want to put backup lights but had planned on doing it on switch one,
heated mirrors switched to switch two. then other stuff for the last two 10 amp switches.
