6.0L Power Stroke Engine and Drivetrain Discussion of the 6.0L Power Stroke diesel engine and drivetrain in the 2003-Up Super-Duties and Excursions. No gas engine discussion allowed except on transmissions and drivetrain that pertain to all models. Please confine discussion of topics in this forum to those items that are specific to the 6.0L Power Stroke engine.

I will be using a 30amp relay for my backup lights. Maybe another one for upgraded driving lights. In my opinion even the 30a relay that Ford gives you only uses a small wire as the output...way too small for a lighting ckt.

Bonecrusher -- Aux 2 is a 30 amp switch, Aux 3 is a 10 amp switch. You might want to consider switching your driving lights to Aux 2 (30 amp)as they will be on for longer periods of time than back up lights. You could then wire the back up lights to Aux 3 (10 amp).
