VSS Location

Guys,

Where is the VSS located on the 06 trucks? My ABS light is coming on and going off when driving. When the light comes on the speedometer drops to zero and than back to speed.

On top of your rear differential. You'll see the pigtail plugged into it. If you're careful unplugging it you'll likely see water pour out of the connection or @ least be wet. It picks up road water thrown up there and leaks into the VSS, it's a common issue on the 06 for sure. Has one bolt that secures the hold down plate. I changed the connector and VSS. Taped it real good as to seal out water. No more ABS light and cruise doesn't kick off anymore.
