washing 6.0

Can I wash the 6.0 engine? Do I neen to cover anything up? What is the recomended cleaner for this? Is Simple Green a good cleaner, diluted or straight? Any input is appreciated. Thanks [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]

I use 50/50 Simplegreen. Cover up the alternator and the tranny dipstick. Comes out pretty nice. I didnt have any problems afterwards, I used a fog pattern instead of the straight stream of the garden hose nozzle.

Look in your owner's manual. I believe there is a picture in there that shows you what to cover up. It might be overkill, but I'd be afraid to take any chances.
