water in fuel light

hey guys on my 04 f550 i stretched the frame and now my water in fuel light will not go off i used the factory fuel line bought it brand new for the wheel base i set it at...would the computer sense something was wrong with the longer fuel line or is it just a freak thing changed both the fuel filters and emptyed the water fuel seperator...thanks guys

I think it is pretty commmon that the sensor gets dirty. You can try to remove the drain plug and with a very small bottle brush, poke around in there to clean it or just replace the sensor. I bet it has nothing to do with your fuel line extension. Steve
