Weird bump after take off???

When I come to a complete stop after i let off of the brake and gas it to take off.I get what feels like i am rolling over a bump in the road.I fell it in the truck.Checked the drive shaft it seams to be tight along with the u joints.Any ideas what it might be?? Thanks The truck in my sig.

You can feel it between the time you take your foot from the Barack to the gas pedal before even start to roll. Mine did something similar under warranty ford replaced the drive shaft. I read a thread here of some one with the same problem putting a grease fitting some how on the center bearing and it helped his problem.

Your slip jont needs to be greased, that's all. You have to take your driveshaft off and remove the clamp from the rubber boot and grease the spline shaft. It needs to be done every 15k or so. Just remember to mark the original orientation of your driveshaft and slip yoke before taking it apart so that you don't throw it off balance.

My f-350 does the exact same thing. I had the carrier bearing replaced and had the ford guys check the backlash in the rear diff. Its a mystery to me. PLEASE....... let me know what it is if you find out. Thanks ......

Stitch 89 lube your slip yoke on your driveshaft. Easy fix. Cut clamp on little boot and pull shaft apart. Clean splines and use some bearing grease. I zip tied boot on and problem is gone.
