Well like i posted last friday, my truck was shuddering and idling rough. I changed the oil this weekend and ordered some parts to finally fix that dammed stripped HFCM plug. Took me two nights of work to finally bet the bugger out. I started the truck and it seems to idle fine. Could it just have been that the oil was low, or dirty? (had been 6k since last change with ol rotella t). Could it just have been that there was some water in the fuel? (at least 15-20k since last draining). I have my fingers crossed that its not something more serious.


Also, when i had the HFCM apart i noticed a loose part in it. (probably why the light never has come on). It's round, about the diameter of a dime, about 5/16 thick. silver metal on one side, black on the other with two contact points on it. What is it?, do i need to replace it? any idea what its called. I will go the dealer tomorrow and see what they say, but thought id get some input first.
