what are all the recalls

Guys,

I have seen so many recalls on here...Can some please help inform me what recalls are out there for and 05 and what build dates are affected.

Technically, there are no recalls on the '05 F250/350, since recalls pertain to safety or emissions concerns. For example, there's a recall on the '05 F450s for a steering gear issue, which is a safety concern.

There is a "customer satisfaction program" on the transmission (05B27) and a slew of Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) on all kinds of things. Go to the NHTSA web site and you can search for recalls, TSBs and other stuff pertaining to your truck.

You would be much further ahead getting an OASIS report... this would list all field service actions pertinent to your truck. If you are having a concern with the operation of your truck, symptom codes can be entered at the same time that will list all TSBs pertinent to your concern.

You can also go to motorcraftservice.com and for as little as $10 purchase a month subscription to the on-line service manual which will also get you the TSBs, SSMs, and field service .... information for a single model and single year. You can read the letter sent to dealers for the transmission program and all the instructions relative to same as well. Worth the $10 or even the $100 for a one year subscription.

You will not be able to pull an Oasis report to determine what has been previously done to your vehicle with the subscription.
