what important PID's to monitor

I just bought a scan gauge II and was wondering what are some other important PID's to monitor other than ECT,EOT,BST,TFT? Thanks in advance

What is BST? I watch the battery voltage, FICM, TFT, ECT, EOT, and IAT. Plus I have a fuel pressure gauge.

Looks like you're monitoring the important ones...EOT and ECT. Other than that, occasionally cycle through all the basic PIDs. Especially the FICM voltages.

Thanks dieselmac i just set up the scan gauge lastnight i notice it seems alittle more precise than my SCT Livewire where as the livewire only increases and decreases in incriments of 2 on say like ECT,EOT and TFT temps.Whereas the scan gauge does half incriments at a time.

What should the IPR be?

I think the ICP should vary between idle and WOT correct? Around 600 at idle and up to 4000 at WOT?

Thanks,
Rick
