Spent about an hour under the truck this morning, looking for the leak.

The leak is definitely somewhere on the passenger's side, and somewhere down low. The driver's side of the engine is completely dry and there was absolutely no evidence of it coming from anywhere higher than the bedplate region (I could actually get a pretty good look up).

What I noticed is that the most accumulation is on the upper part of the oil pan, back by the starter. Since I usually park on a decline, I'd initially assume that the leak must be nearer to the back, but I'm not going to draw a conclusion based on where it's accumulating.

Finally found the crank position sensor near the front (boy that's tough to spot). Can't see it real well; although it's wet with oil in this area, there's not a huge mess here which is what I would have expected if it were the leak point.

The cast iron block seems to wick the oil and all look wet, so it's real hard to pinpoint.

I'm staying hopeful that it might still be the crank position sensor...

I'm going to try to pull the check-engine code this weekend too. Any chance a leaky crank sensor will set a code too?
