I may have an injector going bad. If and when it goes, I'm going to fix whatever needs to be fixed under warranty, and address other potential problems that may not be a problem at the time of the warranty work out of pocket. So please, diesel gurus, what should I have replaced to improve the reliability of the 6.0?
Thanks much

Well, stuff like injectors, HPOP, ICP sensor, Headstuds, I am aware of. But what else am I missing? I figure if we're going to be in there, might as well replace stuff that's known to go out because of the 6.0's design flaws. And yes, I'll be paying for most (if not all) of this work, I won't be going to FORD and being a crybaby to get stuff done under the warrranty, unless it's actually broken.
The EGR cooler I'm not too concerned about, as the EGS is unplugged. (yes, I did it with the engine off, and to be on the safe side, with the keys out of the ignition. )

Just look through the forums. If you replace the injectors this should do it. Lots of things to clean but no real big issues. An experienced tech should see if there's anything else upon his work. Have a look on your TC / tranny.
For starters, replace orig. C94 f.i. w/redesigned C 95 if not already done. Otherwise..potential problems..Might be cheaper to install complete new 07 6L which has the benefit of all changes since 03. JMO!
Gotta go back to all the changes made to true (not 04/03 6L) 04 6L. Maybe someone has link on old FMC report showing about 30+ changes made to 04. Then go forward to present date & all changes made. for updates. FWIW www.intellidog.com/dieselmann/60bulletin.htm
I appreciate your opinion, but if I were to do an engine replacement, I'll wait till the current one ****s the bed, then I'll go with a 5.9 Cummins swap.
