How do I get an Oasis report?
Where and how much does it cost?
Is it the same as a carfax?

An Oasis Report comes from the Ford Dealer... they can run you one for free. Carfax gives title related information that is reported to the MVD/DMV and/or from your Insurance company (damage, if it was a fleet vehicle, title errors, etc.).

The Oasis shows all repairs done at the Ford dealer although I think in some cases repairs that were paid for by the owner may not show. Your local dealer should be nice enough to run one for your if not then try another dealer. It is a good faith/customer relations thing... If interested there is an Oasis report posted in the thread (linked below) about the truck on ebay. You can get a look at what it shows.

year, vin, body style, engine size, transmission, axle code, warranty start date and
build date, also miles when sold new. It does have a attachment to check warranty
history on vehicle also. Does not show any work that was paid for by the customer
though.
